So I have already left a fairly detailed review of the lace-up Halo gloves, so I will keep this one a little bit more brief. If you’ve read my other review, you will know how much I absolutely love the Halo lace-up gloves. From what I can tell, these Velcro Halo gloves are exactly the same, with the obvious exception that they have a Velcro closure instead of laces. So all of the compliments that I gave to the lace-up gloves in my initial review apply to these Velcro gloves as well. The one concern I had about the Velcro version was the elastic strap (these are technically part leather and part elastic), as I typically prefer a leather strap. Most of the gloves I’ve used in the past with elastic straps had cheaply-made, relatively thin straps that wouldn’t always hold up for a long time with heavy usage. However, I quickly realized that the elastic straps on these Halo gloves is far superior to what I’d used in the past. The straps are quite thick in terms of both their width and the material itself, and they feel very durable. And I also noticed that a benefit of the elastic strap, as opposed to an all-leather strap, is that it is much easier to get both gloves on your hands by yourself. The wrist support on these gloves is still very good, thanks in part to the thick, sturdy strap. The padding on these feels identical to the lace-up gloves, which is excellent. I did, however, decide to go with 14 ounces for the Velcro gloves, while I chose 16 ounces for the lace-ups. This is because I plan to use the Velcro ones more for bag work and the lace-ups more for sparring. As I am a heavyweight with pretty large hands, I was a little worried that the hand compartment on the 14 ounce gloves would be too tight. However, this also ended up being a non-issue. The hand compartment on these feels almost the same size as the 16 ounce lace-ups. I believe it is slightly smaller but it’s really not even noticeable. The gloves have a nice way of feeling tight when you slide them on but then kind of molding/forming to your hands once they are all the way on and you begin using them. Therefore, I think these will fit almost all hand sizes with the way they kind of conform to the shape and size of your fist. So once again, these are great gloves, and I maintain that the Halo gloves in general (both the lace-up and Velcro models) provide the best value (quality and performance of the gloves versus the price) of any boxing gloves on the market today. I also just want to add that the customer service at Geezers has been excellent. I mostly communicated with them through Instagram, and even with the 5 hour time difference, they were always very prompt in responding. They were very friendly and answered all my questions thoroughly with the details I was looking for. Geezers is definitely one of my go-to stores now!

Best gloves I have ever used!

I was not expecting them to be as good as they are, they fit my hand perfectly. The velcro strap offers unreal support. I honestly think this is the best glove i have used and i have used all the top brands!
