Geezers Halo Training/Sparring Boxing Gloves - Lace

This is my first pair of Geezers gloves, and I must say that I am very impressed! I live in the U.S., and the shipping was very quick and everything went smoothly (it barely took any longer than ordering gloves from within the US typically takes). I have a large collection of boxing gloves, and I have probably tried close to 100 different brands. This includes all the high end brands, with the one exception being DiNardo. Anyway, I am not exaggerating when I say that these are the best gloves for the money that I have ever owned. I had heard good reviews of Geezers products in general, so I was expecting them to be decent gloves but I was really blown away by how nice these are. They are super comfortable and fit my hands perfectly (I went with the 16 ounce gloves, as I’m a bigger guy with pretty large hands). One thing that I immediately noticed was how comfortable the thumb was. In the past, I have used Mexican-made gloves most often (I’ve tried pretty much every Made in Mexico brand that exists), and they often have a somewhat awkward thumb angle, which can be a little uncomfortable. The thumb on these is great though; the only other brand I’ve owned that has a thumb as comfortable as these would be Winning (which is at least 4 times as expensive by the way). But not only are these gloves super comfortable, but the padding and wrist support feels great too. The padding has a perfect combination of density, hand protection, and feedback. They are the type of gloves that are suitable for both sparring or bagwork (and there aren’t many gloves that I put in that category, despite what the fact that a lot of gloves are marketed as being suitable for both). I have not had these long enough to test their durability yet, but I’ve used enough gloves to be able to tell that these will hold up very well over time. The stitching on these is very well done too. Overall, I would actually rate these gloves over the Fly Premium gloves, which is Fly’s more expensive line of gloves that are made in England (I am using Fly as an example here because I figured it is a brand that the UK market is pretty familiar with). If I have one negative thing to say about these gloves (and this is really nit-picking here), I wish they had done a split color design on the palm side of the gloves like they did with the thumb. For example, I have the gray and gold color scheme where the top side of the thumb is gold, and the bottom side is gray. I would have liked it better if one side of the palm had been gold and one side gray, rather than both sides being gray. But this is obviously a super minor cosmetic issue, and I really had to think hard to even come up with any negative thing about these gloves. As you can probably guess, I highly recommend these Halo boxing gloves… well done Geezers!

It took exactly 11 days from the UK to South Korea. It was very fast and accurate delivery. The product has the correct weight, proper function and nice design. I ordered a lace type instead of a velcro type by mistake, but I am satisfied. I haven't checked the durability of this product yet, but I think it probably has good durability.
